Canon S110 lens cover issue
So my 1 year old S110 suddenly is having a lens cover issue. I turn it on, the lens cover opens halfway only. When I turn it off, it doesn't close. Any ideas on how to fix myself or do I need to get it fixed professionally? Thanks.

Might be some dust/grit in there? Maybe try a rocket blower or similar on it.

I tried that, unfortunately no luck...the auto cover gets stuck halfway during opening when the camera goes on and stays stuck when the camera goes off. Any other ideas?

i had the same issue on my old canon. i think it's because of pressure on the auto-cover when in my pocket, maybe bending it inwards a hair, causing it to snag. i took a tiny screwdriver and pried it outwards a hair until it stopped jamming.
