Haven't gotten it yet, those were on the old Sage. Ion is for the gators.

To my dismay and extreme embarrassment, I accidentally ordered two and did not notice until today when I got the shipping email. So if anyone is looking for a 9' 9wt Echo Ion, I'm yer guy.

Took a 30 minute mental health break and tossed some lines in the brook adjacent to my office.

    Chain pickerel

Brownie (my best of the summer)

I have had zero luck with flies, so out of frustration, I threw the watermelon rooster tail. BOOM!

Where on the Clearwater if you don't mind me asking? Thinking of trying to pull off a visit to Kamiah to visit a buddy in Feb-March and chase the winter run.

This was in the Lewiston area.

Doesn't look like it schwerty, I was thinking about doing that but I think I'm going to max out my time here and then head home at the last minute. It's not often that I get to fish for these guys and it's something I really enjoy. I would like to get back up your way this Fall though, maybe do some streamer fishing with you and snapt.

Thanks dfinn. I've been checking flights into Lewiston the past week. Hoping I can swing it.

Picked up a new #5 Redington on sweet sale @ Trustworthy the other day. I think it's a good one, and my phone cam was impressed all to hell...

Had way too much fun catching these little guys on dries today.

Some of the prettiest fish I've seen.

My mom loves to fish, so it's become a thing when she visits in the summer...

Thanks for one of the most stoked threads on these forums!

I went fishing a lot more than my camera did, but here's a meager contribution :

Yo Liddy, was a pretty good float, visit was 2-3 feet and the river uncrowded. Went 4-5 on chrome, with 1 bonker. That Chinook fought like a champ but ended up destined for the smoker.

Some say the centerpin should be outlawed, along with the bead, the bead jig, paladins and articulated leaches, and obviously all spinning gear as crass and unsportsmanlike.
