Thread: Mmmmm, Shiny

This was the week of bike presents (to myself of course). First, some parts for my new hardtail came in (disc brakes are actually hayes, courtesy of gravitylover)

That fork is beefier than a well-made manwich.

Then, I got my new shiny plaything (real jobs are nice).

I love the 650, I was considering buying one myself.

I decided to pay cash rather than finance, and went with a much older bike, though. It's been back in Michigan for a few months, while I've been wasting time in Texas. My dad will be here with it tomorrow, along with my mountain bike. I can't wait.

yep, payed cash for mine too. Toys aren't financed for me. I've been riding an older bike for 5 years now, so it was time for an upgrade.
