    Skiing Related Boat Names

My buddy has put a call out to help name his boat. I figure this group is a great creative resource. The boat owner is an avid skier and lives most of the time in Telluride. The boat will actually have Telluride under the name even though it will be based in the caribbean. He is looking for a name that is somehow skiing or mountain related. Ideas?

    Here is the boat:

I crewed on a boat for 3 summers called Storm Warning - that is kind of skiing related.

Having your port of call be anything but a port is retarded and generally reserved for powerboaters. There is a place for cute (Hallmark's got in covered), a boats transom is not one of them.

copying a name is bad luck. additionally, if the boat already has a name it is bad luck to change it.

I'm sure the boat has an engine and the whole point of a fat sailboat is to be able to travel far and quietly. Not pour in huge amounts of expensive fossil fuels and rage around like drunken yahoos Nice boat bro.

If you have to try and explain it to him he probably won't understand.

Sailing big boats in strong winds so far exceeds the rush that any powerboat can give.

If you really think that someone who lives in Colorado and flys down to the Caribean to sail his yacht is any kind of an environmentalist, you are much too gullible. The amount of resources burned in making that yacht outweigh any guilt-assuage the owner might try to gain from it for being sail powered.

Frankly from a lifetime of living on the water, I've found that most puker yachtie-fucks driving sailboats are no less drunken yahoos than the puker yachtie-fucks driving powerboats, they just like to dress in more expensive clothes.

Mostly true. Boating (Sailing for me), like skiing, is a very cool lifetime activity unfortunately undertaken for the wrong reasons by rich white guys named Chet. Just like skiing, its best to steer clear of anyone that looks like they jumped out of an RL advert. If you're forced to be in their presence, make sure to spill your drink on their thousand dollar blazer.
