What I don't like about Rush is that they won't play any songs I want to hear. It's all new. On the flip side, when I see Metallica it's all the same old songs I've heard in concert so many times before. I'd like to see more new stuff mixed in.

great show and an excellent setlist - reverse chronological order. so for the first 4 songs or so....ho hum. then it just got better and better.

however, $150 tickets, $20 parking, and FOURTEEN DOLLAR beers kinda bummed me out. my first rush show was $12 IIRC.

the glittering prizes and endless compromises shattered the illusion of integrity. yeah.

Yeah, its nice to see them up close but once the show starts everyone stands up and you may or not be able to see much.

The lawn is way betters and the weather was beautiful.

They have been doing rotating set lists, A,B and C. We got C, I think, in which they did quite a bit of Hemispheres in the second set.

Oh, and they played Jacobs Ladder, one of my personal favs.

    i guess i got the B set - no hemispheres but 2112!

jacobs ladder is probably my favorite to jam guitar to. epic and easy.

On Their Game: Randy Johnson and Geddy Lee
Base to bass: Hall of Famers are friends, and Big Unit rocks as a photographer

I do not want to give away too much but after that show I feel like I got to see the early RUSH that I missed before 1981.

Looks like I'll be paying close to $200 for just ok seats. Shit I wish they were going to be at Shoreline or Concord!
