My feelings of positivity are definitely effects by winter. That said, I had a fun day yesterday bombing groomers. More snow tonight and tomorrow. We keep getting snow on the weekends for some reason. I'm sure it's good for business, but I bought a weekday pass, lol.

I've decided to skip Yrup this year since the snow seems thin.
So, I'm doing my usual slice across the American West, just starting a week earlier from the Puget Sound to Albuquerque giving the fat rubber slap to the interminable drone of the freeways and curving around the backroads in the search for good snow.Merde De Glace On the Freak When Ski

I boondoggled a work trip to Asia so I can sneak in 3 days of Japow. Only that's keeping me positive with Alpy closed and no hope on the horizon.

Here's hoping the conditions improve wherever you guys are. My cousin works at Snoqualmie and he's going through some serious depression. But this happened last year and then it went off in February and March...so hang in there.

I cope right now by smoking some herb, putting the headphones on and bombing down the edge of tracked out groomers practicing staying in control, in my head I chant "training for Alaska, training for Alaska"
Also good patch skiing training with the hop turns between rocks and mud patches on the steeps.
That's about all the lemonade I can squeeze out of this pineapple.

It just snowed 30cm goose down at my home in 10 hours. And is now falling at 5cm per hour.
