What's a good MP3 making program?
I just got a cd deck that plays mp3's. I'd like to copy a few CD's onto one mp3 disk, but I don't have any software for that.
What's a good, free program to convert these files?

Itunes/Apple has their own encoding that they use called AAC. It is not the same as a MP3 and you might find that your player won't read it.
Here is a nice article that talks about the difference in formats:

I use itunes.
It does not suck, for me.
I decided not to use the default AAC format so that no matter what player I use, I can still acces my library which is in high bitrate MP3.
You can burn MP3 CD discs from itunes whether or not your library is in MP3 or AAC.

i like Arson a lot http://arson.sourceforge.net/ but it won't help much if you aren't running Linux."They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."
