What's a good MP3 making program?
Heya,
I just got a cd deck that plays mp3's. I'd like to copy a few CD's onto one mp3 disk, but I don't have any software for that.
What's a good, free program to convert these files?

Itunes/Apple has their own encoding that they use called AAC. It is not the same as a MP3 and you might find that your player won't read it.
Here is a nice article that talks about the difference in formats:

I use itunes.
It does not suck, for me.
I decided not to use the default AAC format so that no matter what player I use, I can still acces my library which is in high bitrate MP3.
You can burn MP3 CD discs from itunes whether or not your library is in MP3 or AAC.

iTunes will rip cds in whatever format you choose: MP3, WAV, AAC, Apple Lossless, or AIFF.

i like Arson a lot http://arson.sourceforge.net/ but it won't help much if you aren't running Linux.
