CLAIM. The Greatest Ski Movie Evar.
The more I watch it...the more this is not a joke...
Year Book and The Hit List ruled too...Seven Sunny Days...All I Can...and all those previous from both TGR and MSP.
But CLAIM somehow has something.
I've seen all the more recent vids...they are stunning.
TGR seems to take itself ever more seriously; to its own detriment, IMHO. Haven't really enjoyed a TGR flick since Under the Influence. Yah, I said it, I meant it, I'm here to represent it.
MSP now has entire videos featuring about 4 skiers. Where did Eric, Chris, MikeD, Bushy, Ingrid, Hugo, the Flying Squirrel, Sean, Callum, CJW, TJ, JT, PK, Candide, Jon, Davenport, Sammy, every other female skier, and even Simon (don't care if he can only spin one way, guy goes fucking big), and all the many others, that I'm too drunk to remember, go?
The more I watch it, the more CLAIM is actually the Greatest Ski Movie Ever.
Discuss, argue, critique, flame, and feel free to generally fuck this over TGR style...Last edited by iscariot; 12-10-2014 at 11:51 PM.

Truth. I also cannot ever get over MSP's Ski Movie 3. One of my favorites.
Someone once told me that I ski like a Scandinavian angel.

not the most cohesive movie, but incredible parts
some of my favorite shots of abma skiing are from that opening segment

I am partial to the beautiful matchstick movies as well and Claim keeps finding it's way back into rotation year after year. Just a fun flick all around.

Is Claim the one where they show Shane flying around Squaw on just some random non-powder day? He's just hucking off everything and maching around the mountain like a wildman. I thought that was a unique seg as it was clearly inbounds in imperfect conditions to photoslut and the skiing was just phenomenal.
