Should I try park??
Hey guys, I'm a 15 year old snowboarder in CO, for the last couple of years I've been focusing on pow, trees, and out of bounds riding. I'd like to be more comfortable on kickers that I build out of bounds and in the back country. In order to do this do I need to start riding in the park or should I just build bigger and bigger kickers? Thanks guys

Wait are you asking should you ski hardpack when powder is available?
Is there not a snowboard version of newschoolers?
I'd suggest PMing Rontele
JONGIts not that I suck at spelling, its that I just don't care

You don't even need to build anything, just hit up some cliff drops. Go bigger and bigger, it's safer with a soft landing.
Or if you wanna hit the park, wait for spring after a night where it drops below 0 then go first thing in the morning.

Yes. You need to get comfortable with landing airs. Ollying the landings of big jumps is great practice. Try snowboardingforum, they love qs like this.
