We are driving up early Saturday morning for 4 days. Passing by Whitney will be dangerous with the wife telling to watch the road .
The whole range will look spectacular including the Whites. Gonna be a good weekend !

I can say that the zones around June Mountain were actually holding good snow last weekend, so don't get too depressed by that Whitney view. Not quite ready to go but just one decent storm away, depending on the snow levels of course.

I need to go to Utah.
Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?
So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

This seems like the system that'll get the whole/most of the mountain open, right? (assuming it comes through as planned)

I put the POV cam on for a few laps last Friday off Chair 12 once they opened it up. Nothing too exciting but it was fun, and this thread could use a little something. I usually ski Tahoe but I'm hoping to make it down to Mammoth more this season - such an awesome mountain with playful natural terrain.

I will be up Thursday thru ? First trip of the season, so hopefully I can get warmed up on Thursday and the wind isn't to crazy on Friday, so I can see where I am going. Saturday while tracked out, should be a great day if my old legs have anything left.

Nice pictures HA. Sure didn't look like that today. About as boney looking as I have seen it. Skied a few hours to knock the rust off my legs and called it a day. Sure hope it dumps tonight, as it isn't doing much yet.

Definitely low tide, but yesterday did not suck. Was on chair 14 when it opened & low angle was good.
