Help! What is the category for my Praxis skis?

    Hi guys,

I just bought a pair of Praxis demo skis that had 0 information on them included (seriously, no numbers anywhere, the ski shop guy didn't know either). I've spent hours investigating and can't, for the life of me, figure out what they would be categorized as, ie. all mountain, powder, or?

    Length: 170CM

    Tip: 127 mm
    Waist: 101 mm
    Tail: 120 mm

Basically, I need to know if they are all mountain skis or not. Excuse my lack of knowledge here, this is the first time that I have blindly bought wider skis and they were a snap purchase. Ive been skiing forever, but I've never *had* to mess around with the numbers.

    Thanks!

Pretty sure they are their XC skis.

It really depends on where and how you ski. Sounds like an all mountain with lots of side cut. Does it have rocker? Or lots of camber?

Do they have a killer topsheet? Or why did
    you choose these?

IME, you can put Praxis skis in the KICKASS category

OP, why do you care about the "category"? Those skis should float like a butterfly and turn on a dime.

I think the new thing is no pics or links till 10 posts to prevent spamming alias thrunting and other such tomfoolery.
They look like fun skis. Kinda straight, maybe even a little symmetrical, but that's ok. You posted nothing about how they hand flex or what their rocker/camber line is like.
Anyway, just go skiing, they're fine. Probably better than fine.
    No longer stuck.
