Each to there own...I was thinking this needs to be a full helmet design, chin strapped on that does not rip off, integrated with an ABS backpack that has a 30 minute air supply in the pack. Total cost less than $2k. It would sell.

What about a backpack with a big steel plate in it? That way you could have an explosive charge indicate where you are buried so your buddies can find you.

Or better yet, a jacket with a 2" thick steel tube that goes around your whole chest so you have a 360* explosion for better signaling. If you integrate a bacon mount, you could potentially give incentive for your friends to dig you out, instead of your buddy whose carcass is not covered in freshly cooked bacon.

The real question is thick cut or thin? Cherry smoked or maple?

Also, who skis with an avalung anymore?

I'm in the full face helmet with air supply or rebreather tech. Don't remember what it is, but there's some kind of solid that can hold big amounts of oxygen, read about it pertaining to diving and not needing giant tanks?
