Any updates from the Wasatch maggots on conditions? Next week is looking warm and I arrive this weekend and was wondering what if any skis to bring? Carvers for da groomerz or is the off piste acceptable for my Vagabonds. Hopefully not my rock skis. Thanks

The condition yesterday was nice snow where it wasn't blown off. South face was getting warm around 2pm. Rapid warm up through the remainder of the week. Forecast looks SOS.

It's spring skiing. Anything soft is slush. Don't plan on powder. Have fun!!

Yesterday was probably the last good snow day we'll have until/if it snows again. Plan on slush if it's warm, groomers if it's cold. If you were here earlier this week, it was actually great... but bigtime warmups coming.

Made the best of this last (and last for the foreseeable future) storm. Glad everyone else gave up so a few of us had plenty of soft north facing shit to ski.

Found an ice axe yesterday in Cardiac bowl. I'm still looking for the glacier.

I'd like to reunite the axe with it's owner. Drop me an email if you lost it. wcjdb at comast dot net

Coming in on Wed. for four days. Not too excited about the forecast. How's the high-north stuff faring? I'm guessing after the heat early this week and the blast of cold coming on Wed. everything is going to be frozen solid.

In bounds is fun at the bird, great spring cycles going off in Mineral AM, Gad/Peruvian after noon-1pm-ish. Probably should focus on spring strategy and forgo the powder hunt.

That's probably what I'll end up doing. Hopefully it warms up enough to soften the snow some.

The 10am-1pm shift has worked for me the last few days. Once the snow softens up, the skiing is fun. Tomorrow is my last day and cold, so not sure what to do/where to go. Maybe hit Brighton, as it may be warmer than Alta/Bird.

Yeah, it's the coldness that's worrying me a little. Love the spring skiing, but it needs to soften up some. I'll be getting in around 10:30 tomorrow and will probably head right up to Snowbird. Might be solo depending on whether my buddy actually makes it up (seems like he's moved on to summer activities already). I'll send you a pm when I get in, in case you want to make some turns.

It isn't the cold, it is the refrozen snow that sucks. Bern, I need to be at the airport by 3pm (that is pushing it) so will likely hit it from 9:30-1pm and then hit it.
    Have a fun trip.

Wow UAC stopping reports (aside from anything out of the ordinary from this point) a whole month early...best to pretend this season was only a dream.

The dream here was better than the bad dream we have in the Eastern Sierra. Had a good time. I will be back next winter.

    Not many out, today.

Trace-2" fresh, good refreeze, best on smooth slopes.
Looks like another good freeze overnight.
