10 and 9 speed compatible - 11t cog
Somewhere in my garage is a 10 speed 11t cog, which I dropped and can't find. I have a 9 speed cassette that I can swipe the small cog from. Will it work with 10 speed?
(guess I should check that it is actually an 11t cog on that 9 speed cassette...)

Look at the "spacing" chart on this page for your answer.

I have an old one sitting in a drawer, but I wouldn't use it. Last new chain I put on was slipping in the 11t for about a week so this time around the cassette got replaced too. I'm sure a local shop has a few sitting around. And no I don't think 10- and 9- speed cogs are compatible.

I was gonna say "ask a pre-cog" but that doesn't make any sense because they would have told you that you will end up finding it already.
