No surprise. Seems like Weir has come to see the light of Phil...age + extensive tours don't mix well. Fun while it lasted.
Look on the bright side. All of the guys are doing some really cool shit with a pile of new and old school musicians. Further might be a memory but the future is till pretty bright, especially if Bob gets back into action.

Furthur done?
A friend once said that seeing Furthur was like taking a sunday drive with your folks, and seeing Phil's bands is like driving in the Indy 500. Kind of true. Love them both though. Furthur evolved well IMO. There were some really weird set compositions and renditions/arrangements of songs, but every show had highlights and killer jams.

JK has been in and out of Phil's gigs. If I had to bet, I'd say he will stay in the circle. At least I hope he does. He is playing tonight at T Crossroads.
It'd be a hoot to have a Summit, (I think that word/idea died a long time ago here but...), at Terrapin Crossroads. I've been itching for an excuse to tell my Wife I need to go to the Bay Area.

i heard that billy hates phil and phil hates him back. apparently billy said that whomever gave phil his liver (cody) must have been a real asshole; which phil didnt appreciate. i also heard that bobby's intervention the night before he was supposed to fly to boston to start the doggie tour was the first time that phil and billy had been in the same room in many years.
i cannot verify a single word of this.
we have several friends that have been to txr if i were to suggest that TGR guys were who I was going with, instead of her....well, that would not be good

Heard the same thing about them not having seen/been in contact with each other in a long time despite Bobby trying. Hopefully, there's some detail of the backstory as to why (if it is actually true that is) in BK's upcoming book.
My solution, have Mickey and Billy switch sides, problem solved .

My bud sat next to Bill on a flight and he said they are just in it for the $$$ and he has moved on to different projects. Didn't seem like a real nice thing to say, so apparently some tension in the air.

Phil family band was great at Terrapin Crossroads last week. Is he really going back and forth across the country that much?

Listened to most of the shows from the recent Cap run. Last weekend with Stu Allen sounds real good, that was the lineup I was most curious about.
Check out the last Brooklyn Bowl-Vegas shows for something real nice. JK and Jackie mixing it up
