Voting: MPC #128: Autumn Fog - Voting ends 10/31!

Sorry for the delay (had to go skiing - no, seriously!), but here they are - the (in my opinion) top 5 submissions to MPC #128, "Autumn Fog". It was not an easy task, especially for those living in the southern hemisphere (my fault, sorry again!)...

I can't find it in the rules anywhere, what's the accepted approach if you have a shot selected in the 5?
    1) abstain from voting
    2) vote for yourself, this way we eliminate bias
    3) vote for the image you like best (be honest!)

That's what I do (and I didn't vote for my own in this case )

I'm going to throw up a padded room thread promoting the voting.

Is it autumn and fog or is it autumn or fog?
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

There is no set rule. I used to vote for my favorite but now if I make it I just don't vote.

Fog that occurs during Autumn. Although as Fuzz pointed out in the submission thread, it was kind of difficult for him since he is in the S Hemisphere where it is Spring .
So I would say it is kind of really "Fog".

If you're not going to vote for yourself, why would you expect others to?

I would say we have a decisive victory by Dromond. I'm willing to concede and let Dro set up the next MPC.

Although I think my picture is pretty good, I voted for one I thought was better in this case. But everyone has different tastes and a couple people voted for mine (thanks ). I don't feel like I have to win one of these MPCs. I use them to make myself a better photographer. It is just a hobby and it is fun to challenge myself and my limited equipment.

I personally always hated winning. Figuring out a topic, starting the thread, managing the voting thread, picking selects, etc. I would personally like to be selected and come in a close second... But last place is cool too.
