There's something special about being able to skin from and ski back to your car. Not everyone wishes to hike several miles and thousands of vertical feet with their sticks on their backs then skin another couple thousand in blasting wind, mixed snow/rain, and vertigo-inducing fog for some mediocre turns.

One might assume that one is speaking to a Baker when it's made clear that Mt. Baker isn't on Mt. Baker.

But let them have their delusions, their jealousies and their confusions, disallusions and malapropoozins.

I'm hoping that the super secret PDO overrides the kid, but we'll see.

It sure is not a bad sign. It seems not a bad sign is about as good as we are going to get right now. Long range forecasting is far from accurate, but the indicators do not look favorable...

or any sort of real mountain range for the matter.

the only redeeming facotor of silver mountain is that you are likely to be arrested if u light a blunt on the gondola.

    oh wwaiiiit.....

though i do have to give it props. it was the first place i ever skied after winning a trip and free rentals after winning the local live Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego event. Glad i tried skiing and snowboarding instead of snowmobiling.

Ever thought of entering a Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego event? That seems to have worked well for others.
