Chances are cpl Cirillo didn't have any political agenda. Most in the military come from high unemployment areas or if not just don't have the $ for secondary education . Have to put food on the table somehow. The biggest % of Canada's military comes from the Atlantic provinces . Provinces with highest unemployment. Sounded like a good kid
