    Summer, in the city

It took forever to post this since i originally thought Hutchski was going to do it but she's been busy with the bumble beast and other stuff and i've been busy with being lazy (its a full time job really). but now i'm finished just in time to head off on a new adventure. Back in July we took the beast on her first significant voyage. We'd been on overnights before but Sonora pass was as far as we'd traveled. She wasn't quite finished as we only had a skeleton of a kitchen and no fridge or stove yet, but still, she performed flawlessy.
If you just want the pictures here they are with some captions. If you want all the excellent prose to go along with it follow the interweb link below

Nice, where is that? Is it limestone?

Nice van conversion, any more pics of it. I am thinking of something similar, without the yellow paint.

    City of Rocks Idaho

More info on the van conversion on Hutchski's blog, http://hutchski.com/bumblebeast/. But we're further along on converting it than she is with the blog. She promises to have the kitchen and bedroom pics up later today. But then again she also promised to do they City of Rocks TR.

Powdrok! I must say your shared photographs are amazing and fascinating. I love adventures often I went to forests to have some time with wildlife and spend time with other creatures of God. After reading your post and see the pictures now I decided to explore this stunning place soon to enjoy the mountain climbing.

That is really weird looking granite. Must be really old to be worn like that, which is why it looks like limestone. I am used to sierra granite, which has very little of that type of weathering.

^ it's definitely some unique rock full of colors. Sometimes it looks like sandstone to me with the varnish or whatever it is that gives it an auburn tinge, love the texture there.

Nice work, you knocked out a ton of classics it looks like. Made it up a few times this summer but wasn't that motivated to knock off routes like you clearly did. Nacho the wonderdog looks healthy . Thanks for sharing-

    Nice TR.

Went to CoR in '90 after a basically only ever climbing in the gunks. Blew my mind. Crash course on learning to learn to use my feet.
    In with the 9.
