Since rog mentioned it, we now have a chance of avoiding said liquid and will get dumped on considering we know from his recent forecasting attempts that he will almost certainly be WRONG!

After singing their praises last weekend looks like Saddleback is closing off their hike to terrain. Lame and they are loosing business as I know of 3 of us who will not be going there who had planned to.

    Ha, do you even ski?

Don't understand Saddleback which is in a tight financial place not taking advantage of the great natural snow especially to build momentum for the year. Oh well will be at Sugarloaf. Burnt Mountain is open.

Spectacular views on this morning's dawn patrol -> summit to car run on george.

The skiing wasn't all pretty, but plenty of nice turns. Neufox and tyler still up there.

I'm going to writeup some info but the bowl is in above average shape for December. Snowfields have plenty of coverage with a nice smooth chalky thing going on.

RG was an adventure with some nice sections into sluice/floor. LG good coverage...

skiing was fantastic, especially for the last official day of fall. never have been able to ski from summit to car without ever taking skis in fall, or december for that matter.

today was forecasted to be spectacular many days out and with all of the elevation heavy snowfall this week i had a good feeling that summit to car turns would be possible, so the plan was hatched. great to finally get on snow and make my 1st turns of the season right from the summit sign. easties were deluxe, right was a mix of sporty, soft, and hero with one nice slab avy kicked off, but of no consequence.

tux trail from the bowl had great cover for schuss and the sherb was what it is, an exit to the car, pretty sweet. perfect day, 130 mile viz, winds less than 10, and a great crew of 4 that clicked perfectly.

with the warmup coming who knows when the next summit to car will be possible.

    thanx a bunch gang

    my work shift starts, NOW!
