The AMC is having a Cardigan Mountain ski trail/glades work day on November 16th. Knock me over with a feather, it's totally unexpected!

    Greylock/Thunderbolt trailwork day = Oct 26

    This just in:

If you missed our Trail Day last weekend, here is another chance to to spend a few hours with other hearty Thunderbolt Ski Runners getting the trail ready for SNOW!

We will meet Sunday morning October 26th at 8:30 in the Bellows South trailhead parking lot (just outside the Gould Farm gate). [jss edit: on the right, just *before* the gate to the farm]

Gas powered weed whackers are again the tool of choice. Small folding saws and shovels (for water bar cleaning) are also helpful. The club will bring an assortment of tools.

There is no need to RSVP; just show up and enjoy a few hours with like minded folks prepping the trail.

Thanks and I hope to see you Sunday,

    Paul Chojnowski

Skiing is just so ...... TAXING. Plus, I learned in another thread (from Benny) that skiing in Vermont sucks. Heartbreaking I tells ya. Ergo, ice fishing pictures all Winter to make up for the lack of coastal Maine surfing stoke. Y'all can thank me later.

Lost some people from the Jay house, if anyone is interested shoot me a PM. We'll need to setup a time for you to meet the rest of the house, etc. Cost is about $1000 including utilities. House is 10 min from Jay.

    $1000/person? $1000/bedroom?

Having crashed there a few times, its a pretty awesome house and a great location. Can't speak much of the inhabitants though
It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

Over the head breakers but for some reason the ice fishing today did not provide the stoke. Seems that the lakes and ponds are bereft of ice at the moment but I remain vigilant. Oh yes, I remain vigilant. Please be kind, I am new at this game.
