Today it snowed a bit, before Noon, while we were stacking wood up in eastern Warren. Northfiled Ridge showed a frosting...nothing for sliding, but nice to see.

Good times indeed...TGR went over the top this year. In addition to the free swag that was so generously donated, they also surprised us with a guest. Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Sage Cattabriga graced us with his presence. Click image for larger version.

Yikes. We got everything cleared out of Sandy, except for the left side of the first island.

'Ok he's in the eddy. Signal for the next paddler to go. Wait, when did he start swimming! At least the GoPro is out of the water'

There's one sieve to really worry about on the run, and I've already chased the same guy past it after he ignored the scouting eddy and swam above the entrance to the rapid....

Apparently all anyone heard as I blew past them chasing him was 'shit, shit, shit'. I cannot remember saying anything, just that it's the smoothest line I've ever had through Cat and Mouse.

Moved to ctrl VT, work 15 miles east of Magic, bought a Killington Pass. Will be splitboard touring and tramping around the UV on a fishscale set up. Will also be drinking beers at Long Trail on the regular and hitting the N Greens every so often.

    Snowbowlers, Stowelerbladers and JayPeakbaggers beware.

Anyone know where I can get a beer ball of Topper or a suitcase of Edward cans this winter?

It sleeted briefly at the base of Magic at around 5pm. As we drove toward Manchester, Stratton showed a visible frosting for the top 3-400 vert.

Ullr must have been pleased with the shenanigans that went on at Magic last night.

That redefines the minimum amount of snow necessary to ski on.

Way to get it done and it does seem Ullr was pleased. Thanks all who made the sacrifice.

Looking forward to a great winter. My wife and I have passes at magic and will be at Killington some too. We have a 5 mo son to car train. I might be the guy watching him in the lodge with a crockpot while my wife is skiing.

Not Christian. Was with ranger jake. Glad you spotted that wolf. Craigslist steal that's a total win

    Skiing? Who said skiing?

The skis are delamed. Recovered from the bin destined for the dumpster. Any more Schusses are gravy for them.

Ready for a real snow now!!

After downing insane amounts of pig and seeing white peaks on the ride home, I am seriously ready for the human gates at K.
