Only Lovers Left Alive
Just checked out the new Jim Jarmusch vampire flick on Amazon Instant View. It's right up there with his best. Awesome concept, acting, and especially music. Keep in mind that not much actually happens, but if you're a fan of Jarmusch then you know that's par for the course. It's more about the atmosphere and the characters, which are awesome. Highly recommended. (Don't watch the trailer in advance, it gives away a lot of the cool scenes.)

Finally got around to watching it the other night, as well (albeit via Redbox...it was only in Reno for a week when it first opened in theaters and I missed it).
Totally dug it. The music and sound design were stellar. The cast was top-notch.
I found it to be a metaphysical rumination on vampiric mid-life crises and inevitable cultural ennui. I enjoyed the dichotomy of Detroit and Tangiers, two now-flayling and decaying once-epicenters of the modern world.
