    14/15 Aspen Snowmass RFV Thread

Now that I've seen at least a half dozen pictures of folks skiing around here and it's the Meeting, I figured I'd start this years thread. No skiing for me this weekend as we're booked, but NEPSA ruled last night..

Here are the few I really enjoyed

I was there too, fun stuff and I was hurting a little bit this morning. Lots of quality films, the NEPSAs have come a long way.

I know some folks skinned at highlands last couple of days. Reportedly really good above MGR. But caution warranted down thunderbowl.

That's what I've been hearing.. also a few that have gone up to above Gwyn's... same story. Nuking on and off in the mid valley, hope it gets a good few squalls today up on the hill.

Boot deep to thigh deep on Highlands today. May bring my skis up for a morning skin on Tuesday. Lots of people out on Aspen, Highlands, and Snowmass... It used to be the anomaly that you went and skinned early season.... now it just what everyone does.

I skinned up Ajax yesterday, quite a few people out and "interesting" skiing, but it felt good to get up there and slide around.

Snowmass skied really well yesterday. Good to see a bunch of people out, nice to have some other legs to share the trail breaking.

Ajax opening this Saturday with 120 acres of t2b riding! Woot!

Gondi laps are a great way to get in shape for the season, right?!?!

I think there may be more people at tiehack today skinning and hiking than there are on a Tuesday mid season with the lift running! And if you count the dogs too it's definitely more!

Headed up to Aspen for entire Xmas week. Looking for backcountry partners. Anyone looking to get out that week? I have my AIARE level 1 and spend most of my season in the BC. I have been out to the Marble area several times.

I'm out a lot. I'll keep any eye out for you. I see the flying monkeys all the time, since they live at Skiers Chalet.

Went up for some lunch laps on Ajax and it was a mad house, I'm always amazed by the clueless behavior of selected members of the x-mas crowd. Sticking to Highlands until 2015.
