*update* Glen returns from Europe on Monday 27th. Will be a quick turn around and we hope to have signed issues in our hands by late that week. Signed issues will ship to readers USPS priority, 2 day.

Promo code is still live and we should have plenty of extra signed issues. I will update when signed issues ship from the office..

Thank you all for the orders and patience.

I am just seeing this for the first time and need to pay more attention to the ski forum. I entered the promo and it showed up, was I too late in placing my order to get in on the Plake stoke? I am excited regardless to see the see the issue that will be waiting for me when fishing season ends and I head back home in Jan.

    Thanks Matt.

A joint? Might not be good for your long term prospects to ship that!

Got mine . Great Plake article. I love that his greatest pleasures of the sport came from his down home tours. For me it truly shows that he gets it that giving back and the experiences shared with friends new and old are the most important

Met Plake back in 1991 on a down home tour at Wilmot Mountain in Wisconsin. Really chill and approachable guy. Still have that shirt he signed for me somewhere in my parent's attic. Met him a few years later at Mammoth while he was on a mono-ski. Me and my friends were definitely laughing at him till we figured out who it was. He was cool enough to let us ski with him for a bit. Class act all around.

Reading the Ski Jornal, definitely the real stuff! Loved Plake's piece.
