More like the maintenance crews have issues with preventative work. It's inexcusable that key lifts can't spin for extended periods due to eq malfunction. Bearings don't go to shit without warning - it's not like they are spinning @ 8k rpm. Same extended outage happened with Pine last year, only they blamed that on a lightening strike...as in "meh, lightening will strike before that motor fails"

damn straight. They advertise jobs for mechanics requiring 3-4 years experience for 12/hr. Lucky for them the area on NW express is barely skiable right now.

Drug my old bones up the mountain for Sunday worship to find low moisture content snow. It was absolutly fabulousness. There was shredding the Gnar in the Bar and Gaper center on Summit. I love Gapers. Always entertaining while sometimes surprising.

It wasn't to shabby at the Bach this weekend. Course the wind did a # on the mtn. Crowds sucked in the AM 'cause not much was running. High winds had the upper reaches on hold. Manged to get in 3 runs in 2 hrs on Skyliner.

Was getting ready to call it a day at 1:30PM, and then someone fired up Outback.

The wind didn't blow everything away, but it sure gave it a go.

Sure was nice to get some mellow fresh tracks at the end of the day with no one around for the usual pow jong frenzy.

They opened Summit chair on Sunday for all that wind blown goodness. Nary any ice to be found anywhere...Just lots of sun, and mellow turns.

Not sure which Bachelor you were skiing today but only the part about the sun fits my recollection.

There was a tad bit of sarcasm in my post. But it wasn't all bad on Sunday.

Ahhh, okay. I would not have been surprised if I missed all the good stashes because I seem to specialize in that skill. Yesterday my daughter and I slayed the F out of Dilly Dally Alley.

Was that in the afternoon? Meanwhile I crushed Home Run and made a run @ The Otter Mountain Express only to be subduded by a Mt. Bachelor employee.

Tap finds the only wind-sheltered area on Mt B - before the lifts spin.

Nice Pic. This is my first season in many years of 0 powder turns. Pitiful.

My focus is now on a new patio, the yard, a new barbecue, spring break, and the warm weather. Perhaps next year. Absolutely pitiful...

I can't believe that I'm pulling the rip cord on this season. I'm so far past being excited for ski season.

Yeah, no shit. You know what that makes them....?

    Lollygaggers!

Lots of fun to still be had. Great coverage on Bach and there is 200 cm's above treeline in the Sisters.

21 runs in 4 hours finished with 11 laps on palmer. it was a nice day if you can ignore the astonishing amount of bare ground.
