Excited for the season - just got Mrs Superstator back on skis and graduated all the way to the blues on MHX last year. Have her ripping down superbowl in no time, I tell ya.

Plenty of gear/pass angst to sort out first, tho. Kinda blew the budget on mtn bikes this summer.

Ready for the snow to pile up. I hope my new El Niño offsets the El Niño and we have dumpage.

Yes, I did procreate in the off season. Zach is itching to get on the snow too

well I don't mean to sound lazy but the last time I read about it I was under the distinct impression that they were grading the catchline so no hike was required. seems like unnecessary probable serious problems that wouldn't be worth it to them either in liability or PR.

Someone has also forgotten about the ability, or lack there of, to turn what could have been a no effort glide back to the lift into an edge catching sweat filled struggle back to the lift. (With the potential for a destroyed binding in the process)

To clarify...I am ALSO capable of doing the above at any moment. I like to think it happens much less over the years...but as Jonesy can attest, I am one safety break from a rag doll at any time.

are you saying you wrecked and broke a binding riding with jonesy? cuz if so, it could be a conspiracy against boarders since it also happened to me when i rode with him. maybe you and i will catch up this season, though unfortunately i will be relegated to the weekday pass at timberline this season, except for the 4pack at bachy.

for what its worth, i LOVED my malavitas last season. its been my favorite binding to date, at least for riding pow and steeps. the hinge feels super good ans do the auto cant foto beds. i did break a toestrap though towards the end of the season, probably my fault.

I love the getbacks. it's a tame boarder cross course and be my 10th or so trip I had to find every bit of speed I could find. I love it back there. plus you get the occasional rider jumping out in front/on top of you.
