not a gauntlet fan myself, Untill a deep cold day when I'm happy to lock out the powder from getting into my gloves.
I've been loving mine for motorcycling VT dirt roads and trails in cold temps. You need good dexterity to work the clutch and brakes and these are perfect. very warm, and the grip is amazing, Little known fact: they shed mud well. lol.
SFB- Check out their athletes homepage. all die-hards that ski everyday. you'd fit right in!
edit: don't forget to order your FTP blemish gloves for only $40. going fast!

Bought two pair. Post when your mittens are available. My cold hands need mittens when it gets in the low 20s or below. My life is so hard.

^^
Hopefully, the FTP's are warmer than my BD's Guides (which I love otherwise) but when it's below 20, mitts are the only thing that work for my cold digits so looking forward to checking them out also when they are in. BD Mercury's are warm as hell but I could definitely live without their excessive bulk.
Rob - I'm going to be up at Jay on the 21st-22nd for a work deal with the wife, hearing whispers of a possible opening on the 22nd if conditions warrant, you planning to be there if that is the case?

Anyone have a comment about fit? I usually run a medium - large, but I'd rather get it right than have to deal with return shipping blah blah.
edit to add just saw the chart... i'm right in between as usual.

Wow, just got them. That was quick - I just ordered yesterday afternoon (although I am in SLC and they're in Park City so it isn't far to go).
I got the gauntlets in a large, using the maggot deal on the discolored ones. As far as I can tell they're brand new / mint, I don't see any discoloration at all. Fit seems true to size. They look very sharp, feel like they'll be warm as hell too. Thanks FTP, beginning to end a sweet experience buying from you guys! Love them now we just need some snow.

Just now ran down to check the mail and there they were. Checked 'em out - nicely made, certainly the best $40 gloves you'll ever find by a long shot. Good job Chase and Shannon!

Thank you all very much. We sincerely appreciate your business and kind words.
We have plenty of stock left of these gloves. Not sure what the last person saw on the site.
Thanks,

I'll ride this boat..reloaded the gear gun, bang bang, pulled the trigger on the long-cuffed FTP gluvs.
She's just another 3/4"standard sheet of ac plywood...smooth, tall, wide, and an extra 24 cents per sq. foot

Got my gloves. Looks are great. Fit is ok. Little snug around the wrist, not sure why they put such tight elastic at the wrist with the wrist straps. Man I hope they stretch. I measured 91/4 and was advised to stay with a large. They are real snug. They should have left the padding/insulation out of the top of gauntlet like they did on the bottom. Price was killer though. I cannot find the blem marks they were describing. I am not going to use their leather treatment and use obenaufs lp. Overall they are a well built glove. Time will tell though. Thanks for the hookup FTP!

I'm tempted by the gloves, but don't really need a pair right now. When the mittens drop later in the year, I'll be picking them up (if they prove to be warm). What I lack now is a good glove for days below 10.
