How stiff?

A little stiffer than the 2nd gen Protests. Not I-beams, not noodles.

I have a pair of these. Amazing pow ski.

These were a backup pair - I'll still have a set when I sell these. My favorite pow ski of all time. Everybody knows sidecut is stupid in a pow ski. Keith got it right with these.

I actually think your price is a bit high. I know they are new. But..... Also there is a bit of confusion about what the OG is. Is it OG pre or post the tunes happening at starhaus?

If price is high, someone can make an offer. It's less than what I paid. If you buy direct from Praxis, the Protest is over $600, so I thought more than $200 savings was good. I don't know about the tune detail - you could ask Keith if it is a big deal to you. OG in my mind simply refers to these being the original version of the Protest that Keith made.

Hi there
Are these slightly cambered, or continuous curve rocker? Any idea of shipping costs to NZ?
-

Very slight camber underfoot, rockered tip/tail.
No idea on shipping costs to NZ, and don't really want to ship out of the country, but if you're really serious about it, I can look into it.I french kissed Kelly Kapowski.

Quick review.
Better cause they are two bills cheaper.
Different as they are a bit stiffer.

More tip and tail sidecut taper and longer turning radius on these than on the newer ones, if I remember correctly.

Less sidecut than the current version. Don't know about the taper, but i could believe there's more. Dimensions for 188s are 132-137-130-131-124. Very short answer-- the OG version is more closely related to the Powderboards than the current version. Or at least that's my impression.

Wait, that's unclear... I meant that I believe the current Protest is more of a departure from the Powderboard than the original ProTest was.

Sent from my iPhone using TGR ForumsIf ski companies didn't make new skis every year I wouldn't have to get new skis every year.
