^nice! We spent a week there in mid feb this year. Absolute bulletproof conditions. Not even edge pen! Lots of sun and peak bagging though. Looking forward to going back in better conditions. The hut is pimp and the ski terrain is world class.

Good ol' April - powder in the afternoon, biking in the evening, and all the ski bums are gone.

Yup! I've been dual sporting all week! Triple sported one day. Can't say I dislike this time of a year. Off to Calgary for 6 weeks , yay.

ok finally some stoke to add! Classic ww closing weekend with 20something fresh on Saturday. Took the opportunity to stand on top of Ymir peak and ski Kuba's, both first times for me. It was exciting and hard! My only tour of the year aside from a ski-down-the-up-track at the pass in crust Feb. [not my pics]

Kuba's is the wide chute left of the peak where the ridge levels out, to the left of the top of the larch, mostly in shadow,.

oh yeah also first time bootpacking with skis. Got too crusty to skin. Took a bit of bitching before I got going. Not my favourite part.

on top! I'm in the pompom.

tracks. you can see a speck on the face- someone did a few turns then decided to hike off the face. that was scary I'm sure.

Great skiing last weekend. Snow was good down to about 1500m until 3pmish on Saturday. Glad to go out on a good note after a trying winter. My sled skis need to replaced after all the snow melted out on the last 5km but it was worth it for sure. Managed to get in over 10,000ft of vert and lots of fun on sleds and skis.

Just back from 5 days ski touring in the Goat Range. Boot deep exceptionally stable powder on everything but the wind fucked high North aspects.
