Town rented for some dumbass corporate event by Bud Light. Seems so not CB like. Hope the local businesses at least get some good biz.

^ this. Sometimes it's ok to sell out. It's not like they are forcing you to drink their shit beer. Take their money (plus the money 1,200 people bring) and send em packing after 36 hours. I love CB, I want to live in CB, some day hopefully I will. The only thing that keeps CB alive though is tourist $$$$. When all you really offer for income is an experience you kinda need to seize the opportunity. That or start actually making money and open up the moly mine.
