    9 y.o. busts a cap

Shooting instructor is dead. I shot an M-16 and a snub nose .38 when I was 8. The M-16 wasn't on full auto though.

Edit: Whoops. Did not mean to steal from PRSTWMLBNSFW thread.

Probably a bad idea to put an automatic weapon in the hands of a 9yr old.

For a shooting instructor getting shot dead by an 8 year old pupil is probably not a great career move?

He's gonna have a tough time getting another job in the same field, that's for sure.

What we need is a good guy with a gun to stop all those bad guys with guns...if only someone had the courage to take out that 8 year old girl, this could have been avoided.

How is this video released to the public? Seems like neither the shooter nor the victim's family would want it out there.

Oprah's probably setting the table. First a People article. Then Oprah will have the girl on in a few weeks, then the Late Show, etc. When she's 18 she'll do a porno.

That's how these things usually play out.

    Why do you hate freedom?

Seriously though, the gun nuts are so nutty that they are arguing that it is a good idea to give a kid a fully automatic assault rifle. Other than brainwashing their young and impressionable progeny, what purpose does it serve?

Well it probably makes the range a good bit of coin.

What do you suppose they charge for a .223 round?

Full auto could empty the College fund pretty quickly.

Some MG's are much more controllable than others, weight and rate of fire have a big impact on controllability. This particular one has a muzzle brake that didn't help the situation. Typically the smaller and lighter are the more difficult to control. A few years ago, a young boy fired a micro Uzi and it recoiled and rotated into him with the same outcome.

Agreed that it looked like neither were prepared for her to fire it.

Uzi is not a .223, but many MG's rent for $.50 to $1.00 a round. Flip the switch on a GE M-134 and wind it up at 4,000 rounds per minute, at $.50 a round. Deep pockets needed to run a MG these days.
In order to properly convert this thread to a polyasshat thread to more fully enrage the liberal left frequenting here...... (insert latest democratic blunder of your choice).
