Enchiladafest 6.66
ENCHILADAFEST 6.66.
When: October 3-5
Where: ***NEW SITE*** Big Bend Group Campsites A & B, Moab, UT
Cost: We're changing this up a little bit after last year's shuttlefuck. Now, you pay for the shuttle in advance.
$40 – Covers camping for Friday & Saturday nights and Saturday's Shuttle
Personal Paypal payment to Kovach0891 at comcast dot net
You probably know the deal by now, we bike, we drink, and we eat enchiladas.

Even though this is a group event, have your shit together.
Have your camping gear sorted, your bike gear sorted (bring tubes, lots of tubes,) your booze sorted (we’ll use any cash left over from the camping fee to pick up extra booze,) and your Enchiladas sorted (we don’t break out the Enchiladas ‘till Saturday night so you’ll need to keep them cool in the desert.)
The shuttle leaves at the crack of dawn on Saturday morning, and typically it’s freezing on the pass, and hotter than hell at the end of the trail so dress appropriately.
If you’re gonna rent a bike, make sure you get it Friday night. I would advise against picking up a bike from Outerbike. A few folks attempted to do that last year, it didn’t end well. The shuttle waits for no one.
You’re not confirmed ‘till you’ve paid.
Now that the business portion of this is over…..
Seriously, do it. It’s an awesome trip with awesome people. We’ve got riders of all skill levels. TWE isn’t a trail to underestimate, but it’s probably not as gnarly as you think. Browse the previous threads, google the internets and send me your fucking money.

Sounds fun- thanks for organizing. We haven't made it to an enchiladafest yet but have always wanted to so will look into the date. Moab is always great in Oct and I have yet to ride the whole enchilada!

can't make it this year, but both the ride, and the party, was a high light of our fall trip a few years ago.

Damn! That's awesome! If I don't end up going to Whistler I'll be there! Do you want any help promoting it through TGR official, or just keep it maggot-central (as I assume you would)?

The Big Bend campsite is rad and actually better suited to our needs re: no neighbors. There's nothing better than sliding down snow, and flying through the air

Completely depends on the year. Some years you might be good into early November, some years you might get snowed out in early October.

The date is fast approaching. What is the word? Is there a sign up elsewhere. I feel like I am on the outside looking in.
I really wanna go.

Sent money for two. Stoked.
Also, In case anyone attending is interested, I have a L aluminum 5010 frame that I'm unloading for very, very cheap. It has never been ridden.

Went last year. It rocked. Might not make it this year, but it will be a last minute-ish decision. If I do decide to go anyone from Jackson area interested in carpooling?
