Waterfront cabins, nude pictures from the 60's and whatnot....
We just bought a small cottage on a lake. During the investigative period leading up to the sale, we learned that the house was built in 1963. The same couple lived there until 2008, when the husband died. At that point, the wife moved into town to an assisted living facility where she died in 2012. When we looked at the place with a realtor, we were impressed with the record keeping.... EVERYTHING was labeled and documented. Original paperwork for everything from the furnace to the well to the septic system. Personal notes on every bit of work done over the years kept neatly in folders. The garage and sheds had remnants of an exacting degree of organization. Black marker outlines of axes, pliers, saws and screwdrivers, ensuring that there was a place for everything, and everything in its place. We kind of had a certain picture in our mind of this old couple.
Until today.
We found a box of slides (remember those?) probably 100 photos from 1963 through 1979 of artistically posed nude photos of the couple! Some in the winter, standing out in the snow, some during the ORIGINAL construction of the home!!!! The original stud walls are going up, and they are hammering away naked. The wife cooking naked in the kitchen..... There are some all time classics...
I feel like we have unintentionally stumbled on the real history of this place, and we have a lot to live up to.
On to the next chapter of this property. Although we most likely won't create memories in quite the same way, I feel like we now have a responsibility to this place.

When I was in college, I moved into a place and we found tons of orgy pics from the chicks who lived there before us. Man, they were fuckers.

Ok..... One quick one from '66. This is just simply picture of a slide laying on the flashlight screen of an iPod.

I thought most flatbed scanners these days came with slide attachments. Well, at least the ones I buy do.

Pretty funny stuff...maybe send these to their kids/relatives? I'm sure they'd prefer to keep this "in the family".

Ha! The funny thing is, my 11 year old daughter suggested that. I was like, man, I don't know if I would want a box full of naked pics of my parents.....

I'm sure the kids know. Good friend of mines parents are nudists and everyone knows. It's kinda funny as they are big business people in a very Puritan whiteie-white conservative town... (Iceman knows where I'm talking about.)
I actually just picked up a few thousand slides from my old man's collection, so I'll be looking at them a little more carefully, now.Screw the net, Surf the backcountry!

I'll bet she has bush to the thighs in that pic.
My father in law has thousands of slide boxes with very detailed organization in his basement. I swear to God if I open one of either one of them nekked I'll puke. Not that my MIL was probably a very attractive gal back in the day. Just a weird thing to imagine. Not sure their kids would be cool with a bunch of them being on the web either. Tricky call, tricky call. Maybe if you posted some of your wife in the same position in the room it clears this.

1. The last thing I would ever want to see is nude photos of my parents. If someone contacted me and told me they had found such a stash I would probably tell them to keep them.
2. They're dead, and most people who would recognize them when they were young probably are too. Probably still best to blur out the faces before posting, but not much to feel conflicted about really.

Back when nudist magazines were some of the easiest porn to get your hands on the folks in them didn't seem to have any problem showing their faces or having their kids see them nude. Don't see any harm in showing the pics. OTOH don't see much reason to look at them.
One of the finest collections of porn I ever saw was a hundred or so pics that were confiscated at the photo processing lab--used to be the labs wouldn't return your dirty pictures. A nurse I worked with got them from her sister that worked in the lab.
