They actually include the one large one with the shock so that's what I've got in there for starters. It's 5 waffles wide so I may trim off a row at a time if I'm feeling like it's too much. I did see a few bikes recommend more for base tune (Spec Enduro recommends 2 large and a small) so I'm assuming a call to Cane Creek will get more sent out? I love how easy they are to drop in though. Definitely could keep in my pack and swap in on a ride if necessary.

I would like to get a couple of the waffles, because I like running the lower pressure but when i increased HSC to reduce bottom out it still made my ride too harsh so I'm thinking the waffles would keep the plush and then progressive at the end and reduce bottom out. Works in my pike

I don't think I got any waffles in the box with my frame, so I haven't tried. I should probably take a look in the box. My shock has developed some pretty serious "squish" noise and inconsistent damping feel, definitely have some cavitation occurring so I'm sending it back next week. I've been a little 'meh' about the inline for the past few weeks since that cavitation started up, but I've been trying to squeeze in every ride possible before PC gets closed out, and I think we are at that point.
I do think part of my 'meh' was coming from that fact that I had my rebound set a bit slow on my fork, so the bike was riding fairly unbalanced with the front end packed down. I opened up my fork rebound 3 clicks before riding Grafton and Gooseberry yesterday and felt like I could actually ride well again, and the rear end felt a bit better, but not as good as it did new.
I'll get Cane Creek to throw some reducers at me with the shock when it comes back. I definitely prefer the plush to progressive - low pressure/moar dampenening set up

They make the volume adjusters for those as well but unfortunately, they aren't wafflized. My old DB Air came with one large and a couple small foamy ring things in some space aged looking vacuum sealed bag. I thought maybe they were including astronaut ice cream at first but no such luck.

Interesting, so far mines been good but i don't have as much ride time on it. Getting to be that time of year where I worry about running air shocks in the below freezing temps.
I bought the shock aftermarket so the little ziplock baggie with the waffle and instructions on how to use a scissors were included in the Cane Creek box. No idea if Knolly is getting those with their OEM shocks or not.

Has anyone ridden or fondled an xfusion stage? Looks like xfusions answer to the inline.

Any new feedback from anyone that has more time on one?

I got a replacement from Cane Creek and it feels fucking awesome again, but its only been one ride: the rocky/ledgy goodness of Zen Trail in St George. Quiet, pedals well even when not 'climb-switched', felt great on all sorts of stutter and impact hits on the way down.

what did you end up with on the sb66? so many tempting offers on pinkbike right now that I might give something other than the ctd a try!
talked to canecreek and they recomended the dbair regular can, but there is a lot of people happy with the monarch+ ml taken from SC bikes

There is always the De-bonner air can for the Monarch shock.
It does not disappoint. And for less than $100 at a service shop, it won't squish your wallet.OH, MY GAWD! ―John Hillerman Big Billie Eilish fan.

I'm looking at a knolly endorphin (26" - so last decade) right now and I can pick it up with either the ccdba-cs or the inline air. What would mags recommend?

Do the inline.
Mine has been feeling awesome since the original lemon was replaced. I loved my Endo with the CTD, that bike would be so rad with the inline.

Heh.......well the range is one bike where that cs will actually do something since it increases rebound damping too, and the norcos extend rather than squat.
I've noticed that 'something' is to hold it down, make it pack up and stay squatty. I never touch it on mine. That's part of the appeal of those separate damping circuits on CC shocks.......finding a tune that works pretty well everywhere. I really like the inline on my bike.
What size shock you need? I'm about to unload a few.Besides the comet that killed the dinosaurs nothing has destroyed a species faster than entitled white people.-ajp

Anyone have recommendations for different settings for the inline? I just got one on my Ibis HDR and have just been rocking to factory tune. Thinking about dialing it in but have no idea where to start. I ride a pretty broad variety of trails with it.

7.875x2.25
I was just going to get a Monarch RT3 Debonair as it's cheap and light. Stuff the positive chamber with the bands.
How is the negative spring side of the Inline? With the trend being an increase in negative chamber on all the competitors there is no talk about it on the Inline (or I've forgotten and need to go back and read it all again).
Having the full range of external compression and rebound adjustment of the CC stuff is it's biggest selling point to me.

Damn.....that's the size shock I just bought to replace all the 8.5 x 2.5s I'll need to sell.
The CC inlines I've ridden (three on two different bikes) have all been crazy smooth off the top. I honestly don't see the need for a big neg chamber, or bigger than what's on there. It's the rest of the curve that's a little wonky but it mates well with my bike IMO. Not so much on the other frame I rode them on. But yeah of the things I think would improve it, that's not one of them.
The fact that you can't get a monarch with an LS compression knob is kind of annoying. This three position rp3/CTD/T3 crap needs to go away.Besides the comet that killed the dinosaurs nothing has destroyed a species faster than entitled white people.-ajp

The Megajizz being the bike that it sucked on?
I think the curve on my frame is closer to the Megajizz than the Range.
Did you play with volume reducers for the Mega?
