Exactly. If you want to buy your suits like you buy bbq sauce at costco, I suppose a place like Jos A Bank will make extra pants. Most reputable stores/brands make suits, and they sell separates that aren't suits (jackets and pants), and some brands (Hugo and apparently BB, but the link didnt work) I know produce pant separates that specifically have the same weave, pattern, thread count, stitching and exact color so that they can be interchanged. That is far and away the exception to the general industry standard. I think this topic has been beaten to death.
What say we about tie clips? Collar types? Spread, button down, the Silvio Dante? Suit vents? One slit or two? Tie length? Showin cuff? Pant break?

If we're done with French Cuffs and suit pants, I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts on washing jeans and wearing socks with sandals.
I think it's a good time for this since we're not allowed to make gay slurs any more.

Is the fashion part of this thread finally fucking over? Or does Jamepio have yet another 400-word essay on the topic in him?

my dad bought this horrible pin stripe suit at walmart and wore it to my brother's wedding and my brother was having fits about it, carrying on to my mom to make him get a better suit.. It was funny.

I've never owned a pair of monk straps.
Does one undo the strap to put the foot in the shoe each time, or leave the strap buckled and use a shoehorn like a loafer?"timberridge is terminally vapid" -- a fortune cookie in Yueyang
