They were lucky Winston didn't get kicked out for pushing the ref

The FSU story buried under the latest outrage is that, once again, FSU showed that they measure up evenly against teams ranked under the top 20. This team is ripe for a full on blowout. At times against BC, FSU looked like they can't stop the run consistently and that was against some not so huge guys from BC. BC averaged a whopping 4.7 yards a carry and that was when everyone knew it would be run after run. Even when they knew what was coming, FSU still really struggled to stop it and repeatedly got knocked back on the line. Georgia Tech has the 4th most prolific run game and the option is their bread and butter play so, basically, FSU isn't going to get another freebie in the ACC title game. They are playing a legit #18, which is probably around where FSU should be ranked if only based on quality of wins. This will be GT's big game for the year. Damn near anyone and everyone who follows college ball will be watching the ACC title game this year. No bowl game for GT will come with a bigger matchup or national audience so expect GT to play like their hair is on fire. Even if FSU wins the ACC, their poor performances against unranked teams could demote them to the 4 seed and I just don't see FSU beating Alabama at the 1 seed (assuming Bama can win out...they have to play a real schedule, so who knows) . FSU will have to play 60 minutes of mistake free ball against Alabama and FSU hasn't put together more than 30 minutes of good ball all year long. About all that FSU has really proved this season is that they can stay focused and take advantage of tired defenses in the second half. Good luck with that against a team that has second stringers better than the starters for Miami and BC.

Rich Rod has done a hell of a job at Zona. Maybe UM just wasn't a place where he could succeed?

An Auburn rout of the tide and the others winning out. Saban's the biggest turd in the top 10.

Truth. RichRod's recruiting was in the shitter and he lost public support. Good coach? Absolutely, and Arizona is proof of that. But I still thinking getting fired from U of M was the right call.

I disagree with you... Granted I graduated from OSU, but I was pumped when Rodriguez got hired... Big 10 style of football won't cut it anymore and Rodriguez was the first Big 10 coach to be hired with a diff mindset than 2 yds and a cloud of dust... It is sad to see what has happened to the Big Blue and it is not the fault of the coaches... They will be back, but we need coaches like Urban and Rodriguez to change the Big 10 in order to compete with the rest...

Now it could be worse... You could be an Oregon fan and have a team with all the talent in the world, but still cannot get it done... The Championship should be against Alabama and Oregon and no way would I take OR over them... OR has yet to prove themselves under pressure...

Iron Bowl is setting up pretty similar to last year. Auburn has the chance to fuck it all up for Bama. But I'd be surprised if they can do it two years in a row. Looking forward to a good game either way!

Heh, I knew what you were talking about, just ribbing you about the "oldest" thing. Princeton/Yale beats the game for the Axe by 17 years, but it's hardly the same thing.
