[SPAM] JigaRex Ski Mounting Jig Summer Sale (discount code)

Edit: new code for this summer sale is TGRSummer2015 until the first week of September. The rest of the deal remains the same.

    Original Post:
Please excuse the spam. It's summer and a lot of folks aren't thinking about snow, but I realized the other day that I can't wait for ski season. I'm sure some of you are having the same thoughts. Mags have been a huge part of the JigaRex, so for the next few weeks, you can use the discount code TGRsummer2014 for 30% off the JigaRex and all mounting plates. Everything ships within 3 - 4 days of an order. Also, we'll have mounting plates for new bindings this fall, including some of the new tech-compatible bindings that have been receiving a lot of attention. PM me for specifics on the upcoming plates, or if you have any questions about which plates you need for your bindings.

Is that cause she's so easy to mount, too?

Love my Jigarex! Awesome jig! Might need to order a couple other plates though - might return to Salomon since my Tele days are over.

Arrggh ! The overwhelming TGR consensus on the awesomeness of the jigarex has convinced me I need one even though I might only mount a pair or two a year if that.
Order placed - Thanks Davieboot (although its still bike season and I can't really justify dropping coin like that on ski related stuff just yet)

Yeah, we can ship to Europe via standard postal, which usually takes about a week for transit, but sometimes a bit more. It should be an option on the site, but if you have trouble, PM me.

Just received mine, and damn I'm impressed - a very well engineered tool!

To be honest I had off buying one last year because I didn't like the way the drill bushings appeared to be attached (photos showed little slide-on tension washers), but the current design has stout threaded steel drill bushings - there won't be any deflection with these. The whole chassis is very tight, & the "OCD voices in my head" approve.

Well done, this sturdy jig will definitely get plenty of use.

Just got mine too. Agree design and engineering looks very solid. Purchased way too many plates so I'm covered for every likely mount.
Unlike 1000-oaks I doubt my jig will see enough use to truly justify owning it but I look forward to using it for speed and convenience for the occasional mount.
Might need to buy new skis now just to test it out.

Anybody know the small side of the bsl range?

Also: could I mount Dynalook toes and tech (plum/dynafit) heels with the JigaRex? I like to use the Dynalook toe as a shim, and those mounts with a paper template are a huge pain.

IIRC, the answer is in here:
    https://www.tetongravity.com/forums/s...al-Jig-Presale

My 315 bsl has plenty of room to go smaller, though I couldn't give you an exact number.

The range is smaller than any adult boot realistically is. He did a good job of that. Maybe wouldn't fit kids boots.
Edit: linked thread above says 250mm minimum.

Yes, you could mix and match toe and heel plates very easily. The pins that contact the toe and heel of the boot are in the same place on every plate, and the holes are drilled in their appropriate locations relative to the boot. So, just swap in the other toe plate and set up the jig as normal.

^^Good info, thanks guys. jesski is in kid's race boots with a bsl in the low 260s, so I needed to check.

Plan to order some. Thanks again for the maggot discount, davieboot!

    Nice!

If any mags are north of seattle, I am near Everett. You are welcome to try mine out. I have dynafit vert plates, Sollyfit plates, and Marker Duke/Baron/Tour Non EPF plates.
