    Bump more gear
If ski companies didn't make new skis every year I wouldn't have to get new skis every year.

I am working on a way to harness my natural flatulence to keep people off my ski tails in lift lines and also on the skin track.

The garlic and cheese perogies are producing excellent results

I heard a rumor about some new gear for the 2018/2019 model year.

Can I post it in this thread, or do I have to wait a few more years ?

neither... you should start a new 2018/2019 rumor thread!

that's how it works, so people don't get confused!

I find that >5 Goos work nicely for that.

I think you can improve on this by adding hot sauce. Nothing like some good curdling action going on in the gut.

    Basically same as last year.
    Duke/Baron
    Guardian 16/Guardian 13
Adrenalin 16/whatever the 13 is called
    CAST
Beast 16/Beast 14 (this works well for some people)

I think the only thing really of note is the Salomon Warden binding, basically their version of the Marker Lord, which could go with CAST as a nice slackcountry setup paired with AT boots rather than modded alpine boots.

Of course, this is the 15/16 thread, and who the fuck knows since that's a long ways out.

Thanks for the response. I took a ski world hiatus this summer to focus on biking. One injury later and I'm back on the forums haha. I was not happy with my guardians on my GPOs and I wanted to go back the way of the Duke. Had the CAST in hand, but it didn't look like what I wanted (for me). Just wanted to see if I was missing something NEW. Guess its back to the duke!!

    thanks

Mostly the lack of a flat touring option. I prefer the 3 positions avail on duke.

Makes sense, never toured in the Guardian. I thought skied well in downhill mode though.

It sure does. Never really felt the duke was a slouch either though

New option for the slackcountry/steep approach: Snowfoot, 'a radical step in mountain mobility'. Crowdfunding campaign this fall and a first series launch this winter.

Thats just a shit (doesn't look like you can remove to use the crampon on its own) version of the spanking paddles people have been making themselves for years. Billygoat Technology make them too.

I guess it's not really a rumor since it's on sale..
