free gear, pass it down, pay it fwd

Anyone want a 3 wt floater? It's old, but basically brand new.

Also have a couple low-end reels for your 5-ish wt.

edit: All of this stuff is spoken for and heading to Alaska.

Please feel free to post your own hand-me-downs in this thread.

I've got a reel and line that underoos sent me for my first setup. Happy to pass that along. I think it's a 5wt floater line, the reel would work for 5wt or smaller.

edit: I also have a TFO Pro 2 9' 5wt that could go with it for an inexpensive starter setup.

Still available? I think I got my little bro hooked this week!

Hopefully upgrading my reel this fall so I'll be able to throw my current one in here...

It's not, sorry. I just shipped it out to the_flying_v yesterday. Hopefully he will be getting out with it and putting some fish on it next week.

Patagonia pack/vest thing is money for day long hike to fish destinations. I just find I would rather float if I have that much time.
Shipping and a 6'er of good beer and its yours. Or pick up in the SLC.

I feel I can't claim something without offering something up, so I've got a 5wt Scientific Anglers Mastery Textured GPX line up for grabs. It's too heavy for either of my 5wt's (half line heavy I think?) It really hasn't seen that much use in the year I've owned it and has been well taken care of. Six pack of something good plus shipping (or pickup in Ogden/SLC) and you've got yourself a bitchin' line.

And the pack is gone to Dickymotto who has excellent taste in hopped beverages.
