sorry, woo: no precise measurements here, but here's an example of both "extraordinary pelvic rotation" AND what i presume to be the target market for Trek's Emonda SLR:

So what? If it gets ridden more than 100 miles a yer I'd be surprised.

Nope. Full boat and possibly more.

Hey, how terrible is it when these things exist and a year or two down the road some of us regular folk can afford it because Mr Big Money Dude gets tired of looking at it and needs to get rid of it so he can get the newest blah blah to show off to his buds at the next charity ride? While you may not actually believe it there is a trickle down effect to the parts and other stuff that we use and enjoy so that they work better etc. because this uber high end stuff was developed in the first place. As a salesperson I learned a long time ago that things like this aren't for me and I need to stop shopping with my wallet when people that can afford it want it. For most of those people $16k won't even be noticed as it leaves their pocket.

Just as I was pulling out my AmEx Black, I realized:

"The only exception is the SLR 10’s Tune wheels and saddle, which carry a 90kg/198lb limit."

The search to spend my limitless credit goes on...
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

Is your clientele still a lot of foreigners these days?

Manhattan is such a bizarre place to sell anything. So much money.

    $1,600 timeshare for ten?

Sounds much more reasonable that way!

Yes and no. Some countries have made it so expensive for their citizens to bring nice things in from here that it has changed the playing field. Games are being played to make it easier for them but they are taking some significant risks doing it. Bizarre? Absolutely. Those days where the stock market bounces around and ends on a positive note are pretty good for us
