I am active duty military and I have been dealing with horrible military medical personnel for the past 9 months trying to figure out my knee issues. It took 8 months to finally get them to approve an MRI after I made no progress for 6 months in PT. My MRI came back as "normal." This is very upsetting because the clinic told me they would not send me to a specialist unless the MRI showed something abnormal. My pain is centered at the bottom edge of the kneecap and in towards the inside of the knee by about 1/4 inch from center. Pain is usually dull and lingering when not performing activities but the pain goes MUCH higher when cycling, running, going up and (especially down) stairs, squatting, and kneeling to name some of the main activities. Does anyone have any idea as to what this could be while leaving no evidence on an MRI?
