Japan TR - Nisekoland 2014
I was lucky enough to leave the drought in Tahoe and go ski and "work" in Japan for January and February this year and had the time of my life. If you even have the tiniest desire to do the same, MAKE IT HAPPEN!!! Hopefully you enjoy some pics and vids. OHIO JIZZY MAS!!
Bought my pass for Squaw and was ready for a stellar Nov-Dec!
Buuuut, it didnt snow. The hiking was pretty good though. This is early January!
Finallly its time to leave! You see some weird things in Reno.
Japan!! I miss the toilets already. I think this one had something around 17 different buttons, a remote, and a stereo.
Had a few hrs to waste waiting for our other buddy to land so we went to a Temple and soaked in some culture! And ate some Mtn Dew Cheetos, Green kitkats and got Crunky!!
Hopped a flight to Sapporo, got on a bus and made it to Niseko. Rented a car from a buddies buddy who hadnt dug it out in 1 DAY!
Time to start skiing! Unfortunately my computer shit the bed over there and I lost pretty much all my action shots. Bummer!
I was also supposed to meet up w a few mags whilst over there, but ended up injuring myself right before they showed up and took a few days off of skiing to heal up, sorry we didnt meet up to ski or at least have a few beers at the BDL. I was a lil down on my luck!
Here is the injury. Video audio is hilarious. Didnt see a DR over there, but upon returning found out I got a sports hernia and prolly tore some stuff in my labia, I mean labrum. Dropped 1st pillow, ski submarined and came off and, well........
Back to skiing!

Resort skiing was retardedly awesome too!
Especially at night in Niseko
Teine bluebird
Eat here in Niseko
Shennanigans
Went to the coast numerous times to ski some lines, but never got it done. Until after I left
Jesus walks on water

For Kutchanfest
This is how I felt when I was injured
Watch your dripping cocks
Nothing like some good ol Japanese squirrel
Went out in Sapporo and blacked out pretty hard. Amazed my buddy made his flight at the asscrack of dawn the next morning
Things get blurry at all you can eat AND DRINK places
Hotel room in airport. Airport closes at 10pm. This is 4am. Prolly set off 20 alarms
All good things must come to an end.
Time to fly home
This Japanese rock album sums it up nicely
Back in Tahoe trying to make the best out of low tide

Awesome! I would have loved to ski into the cone, but we didn't get the weather for it when I was there. I <3 Hokkaido.
Is the Shiribetsu heli skiing conceived solely for the world's laziest/richest Australians or what?
