    "For Dummies" crud ski

Screw untracked; is there a "for dummies"/"stupid-easy" crud/steeps/tracked-out/coral-reef ski for capable gapers???

I need some planks with LOW swingweight, butteriness, stability, medium-low TR, and flotation.

Sorry, Soul 7 is a no-go because it feels like a cafeteria tray in anything other than powdered sugar.

4frnt turbo. Pretty similar to the Helix afaict. Not a featherlight ski but good swing weight, subtle tip rise, holds an edge, damp, really good in tracked snow, and capable all over the hill.

the ability to bust thru crud is a medium to stiff flexing ski...

A bit less sidecut will help as well

Chams are quite good in crud, even though their short side cut scares away the TGR crowd.

Cham 97 doesn't qualify on the low swing weight requirement, even the HM is heavier than a lot of skis in the same waist size.

But only if you stand on them correctly (as they wish you to stand on them), they like centered stance and lateral moves and will feel dull and witless if you try to drive the tips (tails will disappear if you are a tip-driver) and will feel especially planky if you are a tailgunner who likes to push/swing the tails.

Thus not a good ski for gapers to make crud easier. A better choice is probably the Soul 7 for a gaper. But no ski is going to give you proficiency.

Probably more honest to say that skiing crud is more about skill and less about the ski, but you can't tell a clueless gaper such truths, 'cuz they want to fix everything with a new gear buy.

That's what happens when swinging one's GIGANTIC INTERNET PENIS is the main reason for posting at TGR.

A skilled skier shouldn't have any trouble on the Cham 97 radius, but an e-skier swinging his GIGANTIC INTERNET PENIS is going to talk about the Cham 97 radius being emasculating.

The best ski I have ever tried in crud is the Moment Bibby Special/Governer, the older shape with the wide tips. Thoughts here: https://www.tetongravity.com/forums/s...73#post3561973

Just pulled the trigger on the Cham 97HM on sale. I ski centered to back seat, like moderate speeds with a lot of turns. And the color matches my Dynafit Ones and new jacket.

Even with Pontoons and Flexons I still have a "problem". A problem keeping my smiles smaller than my helmet.

My Ones? Please go on. Other than the top of my arch, how do they hurt my sliding ability?

If you ski backseat you will notice with the Chams, the tail is very stiff and not forgiving for tailgunners.
