seems to me like you took two different statements i made, and then tried to argue it.. but thats just my understanding.
most villages in nepal/tibet are above 10,000 ft. there are some pretty obvious (and not obvious) effects on that population due to the sheer volume of commercial expeditions.. large avalanches falling into the obvious category.long live the jahrator

tapeworms aside, its peak season for mountaineering and we'll probably be hearing more from the himalayas soon. hopefully good news.

I'm pretty sure most Tibetans wouldn't say no to having the Brits come back and waving goodbye to Red-Fucking-China. And when it comes to siege-style, shit-show climbing, the Japanese and Koreans play second fiddle to none... Not that type-A Anglo cock suckers aren't part of the problem... But what do I know; I live in a NYC and have been known to feel like a badass when skiing at 6000 feet.
