Anyone used Raxter bike racks?
I posted this on another threat, but thought I'd start its own. Anyone used the Raxter bike racks, like the Tarsus? They seem to get rave reviews on MTBR etc...

I have a buddy with one and he really like it because it's light and very low profile. Takes about 1 min longer to load than other racks.
For the $350 price, I'd personally spend the extra $150 and get a 1upUSA rack. But that's probably because I bought a Kuat Sherpa for $350 bucks last year and have hated it ever sense. I'd gladly pony up another $150 if I could turn it into a better rack.

Did you see the recently posted review on Pinkbike? Check http://www.pinkbike.com/news/raxter-...-reviewed.html Some of the comments were illuminating. I've been considering the Raxter as well, since I'm too cheap to buy a 1up, Northshore or Thule. After reading the stuff on PB, I'm now leaning toward a Swagman Semi 2.0. Another Thule T2 clone, it's a little spendier than the Raxter but comes (IIRC) with an anti-wobble fix and a locking cable, and is still significantly less expensive than similar offerings from Yakima, Saris, etc.

Doesn't drop down for hatch/tailgate access.
There's nothing better than sliding down snow, and flying through the air
