If you find them anywhere, let us know. I had one that looked similarly bent out of shape and managed to bend it back well enough to work ok. AFD is a bit loose now, but not bad. It took me a few tries to realize how easy there are to re-install from the back of the afd, not the sides.

Salewa doesn't stock the springs unfortunately, but they're sending me a whole new heel base.
Might just swap out the working spring for an easier install
Talked to the local dynafit rep and he put me in touch, waiting on the part. duct tape just worked fine for 3 days of touring

got the new heel base plate. not wanting to swap the whole thing, i'm just planning to switch the spring.
I could swear i read about how to do this on wildsnow but can't seem to find it after much googling.
Does anyone have a link or a quick tip on swapping the spring in the AFD? thanks!

Slide the spring in from the rear of the AFD... pinch free ends together a bit, push, then the looped part will pop into place.

Yup, with the sliding plate already in place. It'll need to be pried up a bit to make enough space to slide in the spring.
I've never tried installing the spring first then the afd... maybe it'll work as well.
