Nice. Never knew one would ever wear a wetsuit at South Beach. Must be chilly.

That is one awesome place to learn to surf! Been planning to go to Maine and seems surfing there is very beginner friendly. The railings, smittybilt tonneau cover and headache racks are getting installed on the truck and we'll ready for a month long trip. And that's a wonderful scenery (sunset?) Wifey likes dramatic skies.

^^^Maine can offer up some good beginner surf. Not so sure April/May is in that category. It will depend a lot on the weather, but it is still cold as fuck in April.

Water is about as cold as it has been all season in ME/NH right now. Borderline miserable. I'm having trouble staying in the water for too long. That won't change till late April, unfortunately.

Where is that? I struggled to get more than a few minutes in the water the past few days, but I'm getting comfortable surfing in the dark, for a few minutes at least!

Nice big swell from this last storm in MA. Snowday meant no work, so I had the day to play! Surfed two new spots, one of which was a long right handed point break that surprisingly held up as the tide came in (it never really went out either). Pumped to get a december day in (32 months and going), but I need new booties FACK

Holy crap. I know it’s pretty much gone at this point, but...

That it did. It wasn't super punchy, but this morning in AC had clean 1-2' overhead faces that you could just rip big turns on. It was kinda like skiing wide open mellow terrain on a pow day, where you can just make any kind of turn you want with little to no fear of anything going wrong. Didn't get any barrels, but scored some super long lefts, and then a few really good rights this evening after work. Photo doesn't really show the size at all, but it was a nice sunrise!
