Currently dumping down in the French Alps. After a 3 week period of warm weather and sunshine everyday, it's now been snowing for 36 hours. Great conditions.

Snowing again in the French Alps. Season coming to an end now, but with 3 weeks of the lifts still being open in Val d'Isere and Tignes! There's plenty of skiing still to be done.
Pistes are thin and icy in mornings and slushy in afternoons. Hopefully this snow will add to that.
Off Piste: there is still good spring snow to be found. Obvioulsy needs a good freeze over night, then timed well to get just as it's thawing. The wind has been dramatically slowing the thaw of the snow, so west facing slopes are skiing really well into the afternoon. Judgment over the snow stability is crucial though.
Get a cheap deal if you're anywhere near the alps, there are plenty going.
