my whole backside of my right leg went bruise after a nasty calf/hamstring tear...heat pad seemed to help keep circulation consistant. When I stopped elevation/heat ,the bruising worsened in lower leg..guess it worked

    For posterity:

Almost 3 weeks post smashing. I feel 90%, most of the bruising is gone and its only a little sore.

My body is ready for more abuse, c'mon Friday!

Did the same thing last year. Was able to ski the rest of the day but it started to stiffen up towards the end of it. Couldn't really activate my glute the whole time and had to rely on the quad. Next day I was dieing, couldn't walk without pretty bad pain, no bruise. Bruise didn't make it to the surface for 8 days, then it did this:

Was it the bruise or the ass that did it for you?
